Overview:

PeekCL is a diagnostic tool for peeking at other processes' command lines.

Installation:

Simply copy PeekCL.exe into your path somewhere, and you're good to go.

Usage:

When specifying a <modulename>, PeekCL will return the command line of the first such matching process.  When in doubt, use Task Manager (or TaskList.exe, on XP) to get the process id.

Notes:

PeekCL is free software -- you're free to modify it and redistribute it however you like.  Full source code is included.

PeekCL requires the "SeDebug" privilege (typically held only by Administrators).

PeekCL works for any process that depends on Kernel32.dll (not all do -- a common example is Microsoft's SMSS.EXE).

Currently, PeekCL does not work on Itanium (IA64) platforms.
